Rapid coverup services might promise to fix something in your home quickly, but they could actually do more harm than good. But one of the things you have to be very careful about is if water has gone behind the tile or into the wood to cause rotting. The actual structure and walls may be compromised. I highly recommend that you remain very cautious about using a coverup solution. Your other option would be to completely remove the item, check the integrity of all the underlying structure, and not lose any valuable space. We often find that there isn’t even much of a cost or time difference in terms of removing the item completely.
There might be a situation where coverup would be appropriate, but I think there are more providers out there because coverup is easier than removal. It does require a higher skill level to do a complete removal instead of covering up what’s already there.
