The 8th Annual Greater Roanoke Home & Garden Show is coming up from Friday, January 13th through Sunday, January 15. We’ve been participating in the show since 2011, which was a few years after the event got started. That was when they were just trying to grow the show and get it full of attendees. We’ve been there since the early days of the show, and we’ve enjoyed it so much that it’s never even been a question about whether we would go back. It’s definitely a very fun show.
The show is handled by Show Technology, which is an out-of-state company that really knows what they are doing. The personnel that put on the show make it an awesome experience for both vendors and attendees. There’s a great atmosphere, decorations, red carpet rolled out on the show floor, and several free celebrity hosts. Because they do such a good job of making a fun experience, everyone at the show seems happy, filled with energy, and excited to be there.
In this area, sometimes there are home shows that just have builders, windows, siding, gutters, and things like that. However, this particular show is interesting because of the wide range of vendors that you’ll find. You can look at massage chairs, countertops, gardening/landscaping equipment, plants, or flowers. There’s plenty of interesting items for both inside and outside the home. There are even a few vendors with decorations for the home.
