We have an exciting year in store for Wisler Plumbing in 2015. First of all, we’d like to mention that our company changed ownership late last year. As most people familiar with our company are aware, my father, Daniel Wisler, started this business back in 1986. It’s a great accomplishment that he was able to build Wisler Plumbing into a truly great company over all these years. In the process of my father’s retiring, my brother Brian and I, James Wisler, have taken ownership of the company. We look forward to this new journey with all the clients that we’re fortunate enough to serve.
Wisler plumbing has been growing for many years and it isn’t stopping any time soon. From 2013 to 2014 we grew just under 20% overall. This significant growth is an accomplishment in and of itself, but along with growth comes a few growing pains. There is now a whole new level of responsibility and hard work that we have to carry out to make sure we continue to offer exemplary experiences to our clients. We definitely count it as a blessing and opportunity.
Because we’ve been growing so rapidly, we hadn’t been able to service clients as quickly as we would have liked. Unfortunately, we were simply understaffed during the majority of 2014. We have hired several new people this new year as a result. As we’ve spoken about in past blog posts, our standards are exceedingly high. We are confident that we have added some great new people to our team. In 2015, we look forward to significantly decreasing the amount of time that it takes for us to serve our clients’ needs. If you’d like to find out more, our upcoming newsletters will have an introduction from the new people that have joined the team at Wisler Plumbing.
Most importantly, we are going to focus on growing our service department as 2015 progresses. We are planning to improve the client’s experience by expanding our team of friendly, competent people who are out on the field. Unfortunately, the plumbing industry is a trade where not many new young people are joining to meet the demand. It’s a very challenging task to find new plumbers, but we are optimistic that we will gradually be able to find some great people in our area.
Success to business owners can mean many different things. Our mission here at Wisler Plumbing is that we honor God, serve people, do quality plumbing, stay diligent, and grow profitably. We must continue to have integrity and make sure that our reputation will speak for itself. If we can accomplish that mission, then we will consider 2015 to be one of our most successful years yet.
