This post may diverge a bit from the usual subject matter of water quality and fixtures, but this time weโre going to talk about some of the best places to eat in Franklin County. Let’s face it everyone loves to talk about food.
Now, thereโs nothing I look forward to more than a good home-cooked meal. Obviously, the best eating places are a matter of opinion. Even so, there are some very unique places in the area that serve great quality meals youโd think were home-cooked.
The first place is a nearby favorite called Homestead Creamery. They have a deli that makes delicious sandwiches. After you finish, you get to top off the meal with some rich, decadent ice cream. Whenever you visit the creamery, youโll only need to get a small cup of ice cream because it is so filling. They also have macaroni salads and wraps, both of which are must-tries.
Along with their ridiculously good food is a cozy environment. It has a very nice hometown feel and I think everybody who gives it a try will leave satisfied.ย The Homestead Creamery building used to be a house, but it was converted into the nice restaurant that you would go to today. It is definitely still able to give you that home cooked meal feeling.
Next is a restaurant in southern Franklin County called Danielโs Place. This place has more of a gourmet sit-down restaurant feel to it. We donโt get a chance to visit there too often since it is on the outskirts of the county. If you happen to be close to the area, you canโt go wrong if you stop by for a visit. This is the kind of place where you get to dine in, sit back, relax and enjoy the company. You will get that “home cooked” feeling as soon as you take the first bite.
We also have some chain restaurants in the area, but I think that the locals can give some of the best recommendations for unique spots you canโt find anywhere else. Itโs normally the smaller, more unique places that will fill you up with a really great meal.
